HB 766 Work Based Learning Act
Replaces the Youth Apprenticeship Program with the Work Based Learning Program.
 
Program involving employers, students, and public schools working together to produce highly trained, technologically sophisticated, and career oriented students. Work based learning programs allow students the opportunity to work and learn in a real-world environment and prepare them for future career opportunities.
 
Status: Education Committee. Passed both House and Senate by substitutes, and the House has agreed to Senate substitute.
