Welcome to the NEW GAE.org!

Welcome to the new GAE.org!! We truly hope your experience with your new site is enjoyable and informative.

You will instantly notice that the site has an entirely new look. Bold and colorful, it was designed to very clearly break information down for you and make it easily accessible. Its new sections and drop-down menus place information readily at your fingertips.

Issues and Action: This section includes our Legislative Action Center, award-wining KNOW Magazine, our News Center and links to useful Research.

About GAE: This section provides information on GAE Contacts, our History and links to our national, state and local Affiliated Associations.

Programs and Events: Here you will find information on our community programs such as Read Across America, American Education Week, National Teacher Day and our oust popular program, the GAE State Spelling, which culminates in choosing Georgiaís representative at the Scripps National Spelling Championship. We also have a category for non-GAE events that come to our attention that might be of interest to you.

For and About You: This says it all. GAE members enjoy many advantages. Your Benefits are unparalleled among education associations. Visit here to take advantage of everything from cruises and vacation get-a-ways to buying a new dishwasher or car. Our Professional Teaching and Learning offerings help you get going and stay ahead of the curve. Our Legal Services Department is unsurpassed in its efforts to assist and represent members in critical situations whether it is professional or personal. My Profession provides access to information specific to whether a member is certified, educational support, student or a retired professional.

Our newest concept of the Membership/Administration section provides direct access for our members and member-leaders to information specific to their responsibilities within the association. Itís also where prospective members can make the jump to join us.

Also, gone is the public/private site model. The new GAE.org is one site for both public and members-only information. Once you sign into a part thatís members-only, you will not have to sign into another members-only designated section (unless you totally sign off the site.) The site retains its intelligence in knowing who you are and whether you serve a roll in the association and provides you with the appropriate information.

We at GAE headquarters are excited about the latest evolution of GAE.org and we hope you are too.
